Corporate Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Corporate Financial Controller to lead and scale the accounting function of a fast‑growing technology company. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, builds structure during periods of change, and balances strategic partnership with hands‑on leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and revenue accounting.
• Conduct technical accounting research for complex transactions and implement solutions.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies and scalable processes.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, HR and Operations to support strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Support ERP and financial systems improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing accounting team.
• Prepare the organization for future scale, acquisitions, international expansion or public‑company readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Combination of public‑accounting and in‑house corporate experience, preferably in a high‑growth technology or SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity, build processes and lead audits.
• Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
