Controller – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a growing manufacturing organization. The role will oversee month‑end close, financial statements, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls while partnering with operations to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports and operational KPIs.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support external audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with plant and operations leadership to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage the accounting team, driving continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, standard costing and ERP systems.
• Proven leadership abilities with excellent analytical and communication skills.
