About the role
The Sales Consultant will advise external customers using a consultative approach, focusing on Sell‑Out strategies. The role requires coordinating internally and executing sales tactics based on product, price and positioning to meet sales and profitability targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify business sustainability opportunities and monitor client performance against Sell‑Out plans, inventory levels and other KPIs.
- Sell through a consultative model to develop the commercial category (TBR, Bandag, AG/OT) for fleets, plant renewal and similar segments.
- Plan and manage Sell‑Out activities with customers to achieve sales and margin objectives.
- Negotiate, follow up and control business plans through regular visits.
- Maintain and grow the client portfolio to ensure optimal collection of sales.
- Prospect new customers and direct/indirect fleets.
- Gather quantitative and qualitative information on products, pricing and competitor actions.
- Drive sales through execution of Sell‑Out actions across retail, wholesale, bids and mass channels.
- Prepare collaborative forecasts, review line‑ups and participate in key business meetings.
- Develop additional sales channels (e‑commerce, government, mass market, fleet, Bandag plants).
- Analyze product portfolio versus end‑user needs and conduct market‑back price analysis for special bids.
- Coordinate with the Business Support team on invoicing and order dispatch.
Required profile
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably within the automotive or tire sector.
