Community Manager – Lease‑Up (Kearny Mesa)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a results‑driven Community Manager to lead the lease‑up of a 432‑unit property in the Kearny Mesa submarket. You will oversee daily operations, guide the on‑site team, and ensure the community meets its financial and operational targets while complying with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Drive lease‑up performance to achieve occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Greystar policies.
• Monitor financial results and operational metrics, reporting to senior leadership.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction through proactive service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of property or community management experience, preferably in lease‑up environments.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze performance data.
• Experience in the multifamily housing sector and familiarity with submarket dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
