Community Assistant – Student Living (Block 75)

About the role
Greystar is seeking a Community Assistant to support the Block 75 student‑living community in Albany. You will work closely with the property management team to help achieve occupancy and resident‑retention goals while delivering high‑quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties for the leasing office, including copying, filing, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments.
- Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, lead property tours, and show apartments.
- Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files, and support the move‑in and move‑out processes.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to drive qualified traffic.
- Coordinate resident events, distribute communications (flyers, newsletters, surveys), and act as an after‑hours liaison for emergencies.
Required profile
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mandatory move‑in/move‑out dates and at least one on‑call shift per week.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
