Clinical Coordinator, Emergency Medical Sciences

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator for Emergency Medical Sciences will join the EMS faculty at University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College. This non‑tenure faculty position oversees all clinical components of the EMS program and may also teach didactic courses as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all clinical activities of the EMS program in collaboration with the Program Director.
• Teach clinical education courses throughout the academic year, including summer semesters.
• Provide direct supervision, evaluation, and instruction of EMS students in clinical settings.
• Integrate clinical education with didactic instruction to ensure cohesive learning experiences.
• Maintain student clinical competency records and ensure compliance with accreditation standards (CoAEMSP, CAAHEP).

Required profile

• Relevant EMS certification or degree in Emergency Medical Sciences.
• Experience in clinical instruction and student supervision.
• Ability to coordinate program activities and work closely with faculty and clinical partners.
• Familiarity with accreditation requirements for EMS programs.
