Child Development Technician – Kids First, Pine Bluff

About the role

The Child Development Technician supports the Kids First program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Pine Bluff. This onsite position works directly with pediatric patients, families, and clinical staff to promote healthy development and provide essential assistance in developmental assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting developmental screenings and observations for children.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of assessments and interventions.
• Support clinical staff in delivering therapeutic activities and educational programs.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children and families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.

Required profile

• Relevant education or experience in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively with young children and their families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
