Chief Operating Officer – Los Angeles

About the role

We are looking for a high‑caliber, execution‑focused partner to own and scale our Los Angeles headquarters operations. As the on‑the‑ground leader, you will design, build, and optimize the infrastructure that supports our fast‑growing national cookies business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee scalable manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and quality‑control processes.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing operations and support team, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Act as the primary strategic partner to the company owners, shaping long‑term direction.
• Own the operations budget, drive revenue initiatives, manage costs and deliver data‑driven performance insights.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with co‑packers, suppliers and distribution partners to optimize margins.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, develop rigorous SOPs and contingency plans to ensure seamless production as volume scales.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain or logistics at a Director level within food & beverage, CPG or fast‑casual retail.
• Proven success building regional markets and managing fulfillment or production operations.
• Strong track record of recruiting top talent, building cohesive teams and developing future leaders.
• Experience managing operational budgets, evaluating P&L statements and driving unit‑economic efficiencies.
• Problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth startup environments.
