About the role

The Chaplain Summer Intern will join the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences chaplaincy team to provide spiritual and pastoral support during the summer term. This unpaid position offers hands‑on experience in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pastoral and spiritual care to patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in chaplaincy team activities and hospital rounds.
• Assist with religious services, counseling, and crisis response as needed.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (any discipline).
• Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical or religious exemption.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
