Buyer II – Procurement

About the role

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Buyer II to manage suppliers and support the procurement of operational supplies, travel contracts, and other commodities for its U.S. operations. The role focuses on negotiating pricing, executing sourcing processes, and ensuring reliable supply for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Create and release RFPs/RFQs using a 7‑step sourcing process, aligning with market factors and business priorities.
• Negotiate to achieve target costs based on market intelligence and pricing trends.
• Identify and implement technology or process improvements to enhance competitiveness.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring fair treatment and performance communication.
• Validate supplier pricing, maintain pricing history, and forecast the impact of price changes.
• Act as liaison across departments to resolve supply issues for assigned commodities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, supplier negotiation, and commodity management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and price impacts.
