Business Development Manager

About the role

Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices worldwide and is looking for a Business Development Manager to hire, manage, and scale its Business Development Representative (BDR) team during a phase of hyper‑growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, this role will develop BDRs for internal promotion and drive the team’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build a metrics‑driven, customer‑obsessed BDR team that consistently exceeds quota.
• Ideate and refine process improvements to boost conversion rates.
• Optimize repeatable yet personalized outreach strategies and pipeline‑generation playbooks.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and weekly one‑on‑ones to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve lead generation.
• Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly quota attainment.
• Contribute innovative ideas that accelerate market growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, respect, and continuous learning.

Required profile

• 4+ years of sales experience in a high‑growth startup environment.
• At least 2 years managing teams of 5+ individual reps.
• Clear grasp of BDR best practices and pipeline generation methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Proven experience with B2B SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach.
• Motivational leader who drives employee engagement and embodies data‑driven decision making.
