About the role
We are seeking a US‑based Business Development Executive to join our North America EdTech team, focusing on engineering up‑skilling solutions. The role involves acquiring new clients, upselling and cross‑selling to existing accounts, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Generate leads and conduct product demos.
- Prepare sales proposals, negotiate with prospects, and facilitate account creation and contracts.
- Update Salesforce (SFDC), prepare and present forecasts and sales reports to senior management.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, working closely with Finance.
- Monitor market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3‑4 years of B2B enterprise sales experience with a proven track record.
- Experience in the e‑learning industry, preferably with platform and SaaS sales.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing sector and emerging technologies; automotive industry knowledge is a plus.
- Experience engaging with engineering leaders, executives, and academia for student skilling is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; self‑driven and initiative‑taking.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and events.
- Leadership potential with ability to manage a team.
