Bilingual RN Medical Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) RN or nursing graduate to serve as the front‑line medical receptionist for a remote healthcare operation. Working Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM PST, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, handling calls, appointments, and data entry while ensuring a compassionate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound patient calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Provide bilingual support in English and Spanish, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
• Navigate and update patient records using the eClinicalWorks EMR system.
• Schedule appointments, maintain patient information, and coordinate with virtual team members via Microsoft Teams.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in medical reception, healthcare customer service, or a related front‑desk role.
• RN license or nursing degree (RN preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with US healthcare processes and terminology.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR software.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
• Strong computer literacy and quick adaptation to new software tools.
