Associate – Manufacturing Science & Technology Engineer

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate in Manufacturing Science & Technology to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of new production materials, equipment, and technologies. The role focuses on improving quality, processes, and product outcomes within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical quality‑management projects across manufacturing and distribution, applying specialized knowledge to drive innovation.
• Make operational decisions that affect project performance, leveraging project‑management, technical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Monitor product quality at multiple stages, detect non‑conformances, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in manufacturing systems, ERP, BI/SAC reports, and RPA automation processes.
• Provide training and guidance on ERP, RPA, and BI/SAC tools to project personnel.
• Facilitate meetings on data setup, address user errors, and ensure proper material flow from inspection to shipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to GxP regulations, SOPs, and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in manufacturing science, quality management, or engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, make data‑driven decisions, and solve complex problems.
• Experience working with regulated environments and following SOPs.
• Effective communication skills for training and cross‑functional collaboration.
