About the role
Alcon is seeking an Associate II to join its Manufacturing Science & Technology Engineering team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on developing and evaluating new production materials, equipment, and technologies for eye‑care products, supporting molding engineering and validation activities across new and existing programs.
Key responsibilities
- Support molding engineering and validation activities for new and existing programs.
- Conduct analysis of injection molding parameters and drive process optimization.
- Maintain quality deliverables across systems such as Kneat, Teamcenter, NCI investigations, and CAPA identification.
- Develop and execute validation roadmaps, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Troubleshoot defects, implement quality control measures, and ensure rigorous quality standards.
- Improve process efficiency and cycle times while collaborating on mold design refinements.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and track project timelines.
- Create, revise, and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements using Microsoft Office and Veeva Quality Docs.
