Associate, Business Intelligence & Reporting

About the role

The Associate, Business Intelligence & Reporting will support data and intelligence activities across assigned data domains, helping Santander drive data‑driven decisions and improve data quality. This role works closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure information needs are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data and intelligence activities using a risk‑based, standard business process approach.
• Collaborate with technical support as the BI/business lead on projects, including user‑needs analysis, enhancement requests, development support, and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with business management to fulfill functional informational requirements.
• Profile data to identify and prioritize data‑quality concerns.
• Lead key data element identification with stakeholders.
• Document functional processes and controls, identifying gaps and deficiencies.
• Support the creation of data and process improvement plans.
• Define data‑quality requirements, business rules, metrics, and targets.
• Develop and deploy operational dashboards and reports that generate business impact.
• Advise best practices for system implementation and streamline data‑flow processes.
• Provide user support through training, documentation, report guidance, and query resolution.
• Identify inefficient processes and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to perform essential duties and work within corporate risk‑management objectives.
