Assistant Designer

About the role

Elan International is seeking an Assistant Designer to join its fast‑paced design team. This on‑site position supports seasonal collections, collaborates with vendors and cross‑functional teams, and demands meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design team in meeting deadlines for seasonal collections and product lines.
• Sketch garments, create mock‑ups, and produce flats for presentations and technical purposes.
• Assist in completing and updating tech packs and PLM entries (fabric swatches, lab dips, strike‑off approvals).
• Take notes during fittings and communicate comments to vendors, product development, and PLM.
• Develop artwork, layouts, and colorways for prints, graphics, embroidery, and embellishments.
• Organize design assets such as digital boards, master sheets, samples, trims, and fabrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage local and international shipping of items.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• Keen eye for color, print, trend, detail, and construction.
• Self‑starter, solution‑seeker, organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
