About the role
Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at the new Escala lease‑up community in Lathrop. You will handle daily financial operations, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and assist with resident relations in a fast‑paced, newly constructed property.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and manage vendor communications.
- Operate Greystar’s property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record transactions, run reports, and maintain data integrity.
- Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms.
- Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Support eviction procedures following company policies.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in property management, accounting, or a related field.
- Ability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 AM‑6 PM, with no on‑call requirement.
- Detail‑oriented and comfortable handling cash, invoices, and financial documentation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
