Assistant Community Manager – Ascend at Valverde

About the role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in the day‑to‑day financial and operational management of the Ascend at Valverde community. You will handle rent collection, invoice processing, bank reconciliations and reporting using Greystar’s property‑management platform.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments, and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Process vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts and obtain manager approval.
- Maintain accurate financial records in Yardi/OneSite, perform month‑end close‑out and generate financial reports.
- Review resident accounts for delinquent balances, communicate with residents and enforce lease terms to protect revenue.
- Assist with resident move‑out procedures, deposit calculations and lease termination processing.
- Support eviction processes, including notice preparation and representation in court hearings when required.
Required profile
- Experience with property‑management accounting or a similar financial administration role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Comfort communicating with residents, vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of lease agreements and eviction regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
- Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
