Art Teacher (2026-2027)

About the role

Founders Classical Academy seeks a passionate Art Teacher to join its democratic classical model for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The teacher will guide students in developing artistic skills while integrating classical virtues and civic education.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging art lessons using classical teaching methods.
• Assign, review, and provide timely feedback on classwork and homework.
• Administer formative and summative assessments, record results, and generate progress reports.
• Maintain a classroom of approximately 20‑27 students, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators to support student growth.
• Participate in field trips, trainings, and other school activities as needed.

Required profile

• Passion for students and strong knowledge of art instruction.
• Ability to model and teach virtue through the curriculum.
• Understanding of classical education principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal abilities.
