About the role

The Advising Coordinator supports the College of Business and Industry by managing and coordinating student advising services. This is a regular, professional‑staff position working day‑shift hours on the Fort Smith campus. The role is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate advising activities for students enrolled in business and industry programs.
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with academic policies.
• Act as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrative offices to facilitate academic progress.
• Provide timely information on course selection, degree requirements, and university resources.

Required profile

• Current or former employee of the University of Arkansas System.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
