Advanced Endoscopy Locum Gastroenterology Physician

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified Gastroenterologist with Advanced Endoscopy training to join an established regional program in Oklahoma on a locum basis. The position offers a full spectrum of complex procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and advanced resections, with flexible monthly scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 5+ advanced endoscopic procedures daily, managing 15–20 patients per day.
• Provide 12‑hour in‑house shifts (8 AM–8 PM) and 12‑hour overnight call coverage (8 PM–8 AM).
• Maintain light call volume (0–10 calls/night, 1–3 callbacks per week).
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified Gastroenterologist.
• Completed GI Fellowship and an additional Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship (4th year).
• Active Oklahoma medical license or International Medical License (IMLC).
• Current ACLS certification and DEA registration.

Required skills

• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS).
• Advanced endoscopic resections.
• Epic EMR system proficiency.
