Admissions Coordinator – Higher Education

About the role

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA) seeks an Admissions Coordinator to guide prospective students through the admissions process, promote the school across the state, and support recruitment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise prospective students on admissions procedures, travel logistics, and enrollment requirements.
• Recruit students statewide by planning and executing recruiting events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Arkansas public schools.
• Screen applications and recommend qualified candidates for admission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with BlackBaud Enrollment Management System (a plus).
