About the role

North Park University is seeking a part‑time Adjunct Professor to teach courses in its English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement program within the School of Education. The instructor will deliver undergraduate and graduate level classes to a diverse student body in Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned ESL endorsement courses according to the university’s schedule.
• Utilize the North Park syllabus template, approved textbooks, and supplemental materials.
• Deliver course content and assessments through the Canvas Learning Management System.
• Prepare and submit a personalized course syllabus to the dean electronically.
• Adapt to flexible course timing as determined by the academic department.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach ESL and foreign language courses at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Comfortable working with a culturally diverse student population.
• Available for term‑by‑term contractual employment with no guarantee of continuation.
