Adjunct Nursing Faculty – Clinical Supervision

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Adjunct Nursing Faculty to supervise nursing students in clinical settings, grade their clinical paperwork, and mentor their performance. This part‑time, fixed‑term position supports the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program and ensures students meet required clinical hour standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students while they provide patient care to satisfy clinical hour requirements.
• Grade and evaluate clinical documentation and paperwork.
• Mentor students, offering feedback on clinical performance.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical sites to coordinate student placements.

Required profile

• BSN degree.
• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• Ability to supervise and mentor students in a clinical environment.
• Preferred prior teaching or clinical instruction experience.
