Adjunct Mathematics Faculty

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope‑Texarkana is hiring an Adjunct Mathematics Faculty member to teach college‑level and pre‑college mathematics courses. This non‑tenure‑track position supports student achievement through classroom instruction and academic advising across the Hope and Texarkana campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and pre‑college mathematics courses.
• Provide academic advising to students pursuing mathematics studies.
• Collaborate with math faculty, the dean, tutoring staff, and other college personnel to promote student success.
• Serve on departmental and university committees.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Be willing to teach at either the Hope or Texarkana campus, including occasional night and weekend sessions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours.
• Demonstrated ability to teach mathematics effectively at the college level.
• Strong communication and advising skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
