Adjunct Faculty (CW)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Clinical Work (CW) Adjunct Faculty member to support its Northwest Arkansas campus. This position involves teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, with duties defined in collaboration with the Dean of the Northwest College of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction and supervision to students and trainees.
• Develop and deliver curriculum components as assigned by the Dean.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to educational initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with UAMS policies, including vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Active Arkansas medical license.
• Current board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Ability to work on the Northwest Arkansas campus.
