Adjunct Faculty – Biology (Teaching Position)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate biology courses. This part‑time, fixed‑term position offers the opportunity to engage students in hands‑on learning and contribute to a dynamic academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lecture, laboratory, and discussion sessions for biology courses.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and lab reports.
• Maintain regular office hours to advise and mentor students.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Biology or a closely related field.
