Accountant – Hotel Finance

About the role

The Hard Rock Hotel New York is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its finance operations in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. You will work closely with senior leaders, ensuring the integrity of accounting records and contributing to the hotel’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and prepare daily cash and cash‑equivalent files, deposits, and related documentation.
• Verify and post figures accurately in the financial system, including vendor invoices and account statements.
• Process invoices for payment and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Manage timely billing and collections for all Accounts Receivable accounts, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
• Assist with daily and month‑end journal entries, particularly revenue entries, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain cash controls and support payroll, A/P, and A/R functions.
